Time for Autumn, When Leaves Change and Fall

Happy Fall!!! I love the colors and change of weather in Fall! 

Since I live in Central California, the hot Summer season lasts for about 5 months. We've only just begun to notice cool evenings, and leaves that are changing colors. So let's celebrate the season!

I am SO excited that Fall Soup Season is here! Just imagine how tasty your favorite recipe will look in this mug

By the way, here is my favorite soup recipe: 

Pam's Italian Sausage Soup 

2 lbs. Italian sausage, sliced, cooked & drained, 

If you are adventurous, try linguica Then combine the sausage and the rest of the ingredients. 

2 cloves garlic, chopped 

28 oz. canned Roma tomatoes 

3 14 oz. cans of beef broth (I use Better Than Boullion paste) 

1 1/2 c. Red Wine 

1 onion, chopped 

1/2 tsp. dried basil 

3 medium zucchini, chopped 

2-3 cans of green beans 

Cook at least 2 hrs. I place the ingredients in a crockpot for several hours. 

Prior to serving, add: 

3 tsp. fresh parsley, chopped 
 3 c. cooked bow tie noodles. 

 I like to serve this with Crusty Italian bread from my bread machine. Enjoy!
